itâs difficult to make it in Hollywood as an actress. It seems the only way to get known is to take the roles involving nudity, and even then youâre just one wrong move away from being labelled âdifficult to work withâ. So it makes sense that the directors want to see how far you will go for the part. But how far is that?
Hope you like the prompt! Today I want to focus on an embarrassing audition for a young and naive actress, talked out of her clothes and pushed to see what she will do for the part. The focus will be on exposure, nudity, filming and embarrassment, rather than anything more sexual or sinister.
The plan is to focus on a younger, less well-known version of a famous actress. Maybe this was what Emilia Clarkeâs GoT audition was like? Maybe an unknown Emma Watson is pushed into humiliating herself for a part? Or maybe itâs an established actress auditioning for a stage show, where there are no âintimacy coordinatorsâ and fewer protections for stars? Favourite celebs would be Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Daisy Ridley, Willa Holland, Ariel Winter, or let me know if you have any other preference!
