Today I’ve got an idea in mind for a celebrity dealing with a travel layover. Of course, many wealthy and famous people fly private or on more exclusive flights, and don’t generally have to deal with overbookings, cancellations and delays like the everyday, occasional traveler. However, it’s become a little less popular to fly private jets and such as of late, so even the A-list travelers are “downgrading” to commercial flights- though still first class of course.

Everything had gone smoothly so far- boarding at a different gate, low key first class seating, no nosy fans or obnoxious people had yet realized she was on board, and she’d had a peaceful flight- maybe going so far as to converse with others in the cabin- mostly keeping to herself. However, an unexpected situation (bad weather, mechanical trouble, etc) arose, forcing the plane to land hundreds of miles early, and unfortunately no other flights would be leaving until tomorrow.

Wasting no time, she’d booked a hotel room near the airport in whatever city they’d landed in, and resigned herself to accepting an overnight layover. Even dressed casually, she was recognized by a few people as she hurried down the concourse to catch an Uber to her nearby hotel, but overall it wasn’t the hassle she’d feared. The hotel was standard business class, no major frills, but comfortable and relatively quiet, as a competing brand elsewhere in town was the hotel of choice for the airline’s vouchers that most of the grounded passengers took.

She checked in, settled in, and decided to make the most of a night at a hotel. There was an above average restaurant attached via the lobby, a decent pool and gym area, and the view from her room wasn’t half bad. Too bad she didn’t have anyone to pass the time with ;)

I’d love to use the above setting and situation as the base of a roleplay! Whether she meets a fellow stranded traveler from her flight, another random guest, or even brought someone with as a non-romantic travel companion (such as a relative!!), I’d like your help in finding her a hookup to pass the night away.
