Post Body

The answer to Wednesday's trivia was Carly Rae Jepsen! The three clues taken together all referred to the chorus in her viral hit "Call Me Maybe".

Hey, I just met you

The first link was titled "Hey". The picture it led to referred to the other four words in this line. An eye (I), Lady Justice (just), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, AKA the Met (met), and a female sheep, or ewe (you)

And this is crazy

The second link was titled "And". This led you to a page titled "This Is", with an audio file. The audio file was the intro to Gnarls Barkley's 2006 song "Crazy".

But here's my number

The final link was titled "But". The Pycto it linked to was the famous business card scene from American Psycho, and though the words "here's my number" are not uttered in this scene, the characters presenting their contact information stood to represent these lines of the song. Additionally, in the lower right corner of the Pycto "© CXLVIII" appears. Disguised in the style of a copyright date, this is the Roman numeral representation of 148. While I didn't expect anyone to get the answer based on this detail, I couldn't resist hiding Jepsen's DB number on the "here's my number" clue.

So call me maybe

After completing the Pycto, you would receive the word "So", followed by a link to an image titled "Call Me". The picture is of the character Maeby Fünke from Arrested Development, portrayed by Alia Shawkat. This corresponded to the "Maybe" of the final line.
