I would like to start off with something I have been wanting to do for a while now, and that is highlight the CBL Auction House. Besides the usual Discord server, CBL has a separate server specifically for auctions. https://discord.gg/SjENE3XkC9 Users can contact an auctioneer and select an end time for their auction. These are mostly cards but can also be other prizes. The full set of rules can be found in the auction house server itself, and an auctioneer should be willing to answer any questions you may have. As I write this, an auction has just concluded for a price of 5 gold coins and 611 tokens:

And most notably, ending in a couple days from now, a custom card is being auctioned. This is a rare and highly specialized prize, and buzz has been building for days in anticipation of the auction. Granted, the opening bid was 8976 tokens and 43 gold coins, so this may not be for everyone. We have also very recently had SUM cards go for as low as 300, a SU for 100, and a MONO for 350. For card collectors looking for a deal on cards that may otherwise be difficult to find, this may be an enticing option.

Mae g’ovannen mellyn! This is Bobo from TDD. Welcome to the third Weekly Roundup’s sports & miscellaneous column, bringing you the latest fun news from CBL! We have a slightly long column this week, so without further ado let’s get to it:

We’re gonna start out this week with some fantasy hockey. We’re midway through our first week of playoffs, and gaps are slowly starting to form between the top teams. Keep an eye out on this column for more info.

Now onto some F1 fantasy. The Australian GP was this weekend, and it was quite something. Many (including myself) had Verstappen as a strong podium contender, though seeing his engine on fire quickly crushed those hopes. Once more, if you want to get in on some vroom vroom it’s still not too late!

We’re going to finish up the fantasy section of the sports column with some basketball. Yesterday was the final day of the regular season, as well as the final fantasy day. Before I announce the results, I wanted to once more thank everyone who participated in the fantasy NBA league. There were many ups and downs, some arguments, and A LOT of trash talking, but we finally powered through.

There were 4 teams that made it into the playoffs, u/jerkedpickle, u/dgg021, u/taytaystan, and yours truly. In 4th and 3rd place, we have u/jerkedpickle and u/dgg021 respectively! Huge congrats to them, it was a hard fought battle between them. They both got 1,500 tokens and a mid tier roll. And finally, it was a literal nail-biter in the finals between u/taytaystan and myself. Team u/BobKey12 was quite behind at the start, and much hope was lost in the beginning. However, things started to pick up towards the end, and we finally prevailed by the slimmest of margins!! It was an extremely jubilant late night for Team Bobo. But I have to give it up for u/taytaystan, who did an amazing job and was a fierce competitor. We at TDD were heartbroken to learn of the fall of our boss in the standings, but our heads are held high and we salute him for his efforts. Hopefully next season we beat the bitch ass lizard.

This wraps up our fantasy NBA season, and again a big thanks to everyone who participated! However, we’re not done yet! As I hinted at last week, there is a discord-exclusive event around the NBA playoffs, which has finally been released! This event is a predictive bracket for the entire NBA playoffs (including the play-in tournament). All of the details are available on discord, so feel free to join us if you’re interested!

Aside from fantasy leagues, we have an avid fan base of users who love to chat about sports in general, including wrestling. So if you just wanna hang around and chat about what sports you’re interested in, even if there aren’t any channels for it, feel free to join us!

Onto the miscellaneous activities: we have an active card-playing community here at CBL! We mainly play blackjack, and the prizes are mainly CBL oriented: tokens, gold coins, and cards. There have also been experiments with Texas Hold ‘Em poker, Monopoly, and Top Trumps, which we hope to see more of in the future. If you’re not interested in the CBL stuff, just join us to have fun!

Finally, I eagerly present to you all a new major event in the progression of this column, a note from the Editor in Chief of the The Daily Demba himself, /u/thedemba2

The Future of Bobo: Many of you already know the internship of Bobo here at TDD came to an end a week ago. The board had to do a lot of digging to see if his character was a right fit for the organization, and after many hours of careful examination the results were quite interesting, and with that said it is with a heavy heart that we announce that Bobo the Intern is no longer part of TDD. We wish him well on his future endeavors.

We had to make room for Bobo the official correspondent for the North America region of TDD. We want to extend our congratulations Detroit´s pride Bobo (there is not much to celebrate on that place). We will soon reach out to the former intern to sign his permanent contract with the organization.

Sports: On a side note: what an awful performance by the Caliboys on the Bouncy Ball Fantasy finals, a meltdown for the history books. Don't get me started on Pickle, his saltiness was something that would make Huey proud.

TDD Sports facts: Demba fantasy teams have more titles than /u/TPain93, /u/jerkedpickle , /u/dgg021 , and /u/celebtournament combined, LMAO.
