Hej venner! This is Karma, official European correspondent for The Daily Demba bringing you the big stories from the week. Big changes still abound, and two in particular have really captured the attention of the people.

Our first story has to do with the weekly lotto. For those unaware, everyone with a lotto ticket in a given week is entered into a draw for prizes. The quality of the lottos has unsatisfied some and recently they have been significantly overhauled, to very positive reactions. This reporter reached out to the loon lotto lord himself /u/send_me_girls_feet who provided a quote.

In line with the original idea of the subreddit, that cards shouldn't be too hard to obtain, the weekly lottery has undergone some changes to the prize pool and win ratio. The main reason for the changes is to make it just way easier to get cards with more activities handing out top tier cards than ever before and ensuring that all activities and not just blackjack hand out excellent cards. Previous lottery prizes could also be very underwhelming and making sure people are happy with their prizes and enjoying the lottery was my personal priority in changing the prize lists. You will now be even more sad when you don't win, and that's a good thing because the prizes are great.

You may remember that the old prize pool had a top prize that was usually an XIF or Low Tier Special and starter prizes of choice of base or a custom friendly. There was an approximate prize value of around 300 tokens on average and only a 1 in 4 chance of winning anything. The new prize pool top prizes include signature sets, fantasy tier cards and lots more "choice of" prizes, with an average prize value of around 1000 tokens and approximately 1 in 3 chance of winning.

These changes, combined with the new appu pack odds, should hopefully make collecting a lot less grindy and a lot more fun. I hope to see you all on the live events channel next Monday for more fabulous prizes.

Our second story has to do with the aforementioned pack odds. It has been a long time coming, but the drop rates of cards has been radically changed and most people would agree, drastically improved.

As of this writing 332 Special and Retro packs have been opened with 5 Gold Coins, and ONE of them was 3 IFs.
