You were recently hired to work with the world famous consultation detective Herlock Sholmes at his office B221 Rekab Street. As your first task, you were handed a case to solve by Dr. Wohn Jatson, Sholmes’ best friend and confidant. As you open the file, you discover, much to your dismay, that it contains only a brief summary describing the situation and Sholmes’ cocaine-written notes and clues regarding the situation. You read the situation, given to you by Scotland Yard, first:

Recently, a murder was commited in St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, in broad daylight. Based on eyewitness claims and the hospital registry, we’ve narrowed the number of people that could’ve committed this murder down to four. All four of these criminals have a distinct calling card, which surprisingly was not left at the scene of the crime. Nor was their typical murder weapon used. The only other piece of information we know is where these criminals are currently hiding. Your job, Sholmes, should you choose to accept it, is to find out who this killer is, and more importantly where he is.

Rubbing your eyes and already regretting your decision working here, you open the folded paper containing Sholmes’ notes. Brushing away the stray cocaine powder still there, you peer intently at the scribbled, barely-legible writing, discerning this:

1. Muan Jurillo is either from the USA or has a gun as a murder weapon
2. Sulverton Cmith has never been to Spain
3. The Bloody Joker Calling Card was either used by the criminal whose murder weapon was a knife or the criminal whose murder weapon is the stapler
4. Neither Sulverton Cmith nor Professor Mames Joriarty use a spider as a calling card
5. Austria is either where the criminal whose calling card was a white glove or whose murder weapon is the stapler
6. Sack Jtapleton is from Australia, and was fond of stapling worksheets as a school teacher
7. Muan Jurillo’s calling card is a cigarette, and Sulverton Cmith favorite kitchen utensil is a knife
8. Professor Mames Joriarty once was a boxing champion, remembered for thrashing his final opponent’s jaw with a shattering right hook

Setting the paper down, you contemplate drinking the bottle of embalming fluid sitting across from you on Sholmes’ desk. Shaking your head of such thoughts, you get to work.

Hint #1: Solve the main story first, then go to the next hint. It may help to make a table.

Hint #2: Don't focus on the where, more the who. The where has been determined if you solved it correctly, and should've narrowed your choices quite a bit.
