The story starts with me buying some CDs for the first time and listening them on a DVD player connected to the TV. But the thing is that I live in a dorm and it's such a pain in the ass to go downstairs to the room where our TV is located just to listen to some CDs. Then I found that there are portable modern CD players that can even be a Bluetooth speaker and connect to other speakers. It sounds like quite a convenient piece of gear. Some of them can even connect to a display via HDMI to play DVDs.

So my question is, does someone have an experience of owning one of these CD players and do you recommend to buy them? I don't need something expensive, rather something with a decent sound and battery life for a decent price. Thanks!
