As an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), I invest most of my time in my career to secure my future. On my days off, I engage in household chores, grocery shopping, and occasional solo trips to the mall. Being reserved, my focus has been on work rather than relationships, with my last one being quite some time ago. Lately, my parents have been prompting me about settling down, prompting me to consider taking the time to connect with someone.
