Not Relaxing Until My Wife Goes Upstairs

Does anybody else experience this, my cute cavapoo some nights will be crazy all night. Once my wife goes upstairs he comes and lays down on me and falls asleep.
I can’t figure out why he does this, my wife works from home and takes care of him most of the day and then I take care of him and play with him when I get home.
