Hi, wondering if anyone has any suggestions for ways I could protect my cats from a dangerous dog.
I live in a terraced house, and on the same road a neighbour lets her lurcher wander out road freely at times, off lead.
It's killed a cat before, shook it to death, come into my front garden and seemingly tried to bite me through the window, and at the weekend attacked my cat in my front garden after jumping over the closed fence.
The owner doesn't care and thinks her dog should be allowed to roam free at times, the police pointed me to the dog warden as no humans were injured, and the dog warden looks to be wanting to do a monitoring visit to the road, but if they don't see the dog in that time, then no action.
Instead I'm looking at ways I could try to keep the dog away from my property, other than that, the only thing I can think of it not letting the cats outside, but they love the outdoors.
Cheers.
