It’s summer, normally it would be the perfect time to take a break and visit the beach, but recently it’s been getting hot, uncomfortably hot. It just doesn’t seem worth it to deal with the blistering heat and the white-hot sand searing your feet for a day in the water, not to mention that the beaches are already packed with tourists making the deal even worse for you. With this in mind you make the executive decision to simply stay home and allow the air conditioning to cool you down.

Unknown to you there is another party that’s also upset by the intense heat and the crowds, a certain predator that’s usually known to prefer more solitary conditions. You hear a knock at your door and go to open it. Standing behind it is a woman wearing what appears to be a swimsuit. Her skin is dark blue with the exception of her stomach which appears to be white. On her ribs a set of slits like kills can be seen. Her hands and feet are clawed, and she has a large shark tail trailing behind her.

You heard about the two-legged humanoid variants of mersharks, but they were usually limited to places closer to the ocean since they also relied on water to keep them from drying out. This one looked weak and since the nearest body of water wasn’t exactly close it was safe to assume that the heat was taking a toll on her. Turning her away would definitely be bad for her so you quickly beckon her inside. Once inside she seems to perk up almost instantly, but her rough skin still appears to be dry.

“Hey human, you got a shower I can use?” She asks in a low, rough voice.

You nod.

After leading the shark girl to the shower, you help her turn it on and leave her alone. A few minutes pass and you hear the bathroom door open with the shower still running. You turn to see a wet and very naked shark girl quickly closing the distance between you and her and before you can even react she has you in her grasp.

“You know it’s real lonely in the shower by myself, and it would be a real shame to not thank you for helping me, wouldn’t you agree?”

Intimidated by the girl’s tall, strong physique and her grip on you, you nod without any hesitation.

“Good boy.” She says, leading you to the bathroom and locking the door.
