First, he's having the angel do the hammering--shouldn't Jesus be learning this? Second, Jesus is holding the wood to be nailed on his lap. I get that he's the Son of God, but shouldn't he follow proper safety practices to set a good example for the rest of us? I can just see it in St. Joseph's face: "this kid hasn't listened to a thing I've said".
Of course, Jesus grew up to be a fine carpenter. Just looks like the beginning was a little rough.please don't excommunicate me
