So let me give a brief explanation about my conversion before I go further. Five years ago I was deep into the occult, I had joined circles and cast quite a few spells. Before my reversion back to the Catholic Church I was preparing to join an actual coven. Fast forward to Labor Day when my bf of 12 years called the engagement off, and the relationship. I fell into a deep depression and my world was falling apart. 10 days after the breakup i landed in the hospital and was inches away from death. It was in that ER bed that I broke down and asked my mom to get a priest. When father came I broke down further, crying as I told him that I don’t want to go to hell. He told me that it’s never to late for salvation and God with his love and mercy saved us on the cross. I made a deep and meaningful confession, and came home to the church.

Fast forward to today 5 years later after being in the church. The last two nights I was trying to watch, what used to be my favorite show. I tried to watch American Horror Story season 2 and deep down all I could think was “I can’t watch this, this isn’t good to watch.” The episode that had a demon possessed person made me cry. Has anyone ever experienced this? If not has anyone who used to watch horror movies but don’t anymore feel this way? I believe that since my conversion back to the church is why I can’t watch horror movies anymore.
