2nd date with Catholic guy

I had a 2nd date with a Catholic guy this weekend. He seems really nice, polite, and a gentlemen.
We have ended both dates with a hug, just a friendly hug. I do not want to "lead him to temptation" and have not made the move to kiss him. He hasn't made a move either.
I assume it is best to keep it that way? Friendly hug, no kissing. I like him, I'm interested but it is not a big deal (to me) if we don't kiss.
