Hi, I have been interested in Catholicism for a long time, and have been raised Baptist/Non-Denom for my whole life. I know very little about most things, but I try where I can. The thing is, as much as I would like to go to a Catholic Church (because I think it's the most in line with true Christian teachings), I have an issue with following the Pope. So for awhile I have also thought about Lutheran Church (They still perform rites and Eucharist and such, but don't adhere to the Pope, from my understanding). I know that it's kind of dumb to ask Catholics if I should become Catholic, but I truly would like to know how the Pope works and become less ignorant on the issue. Unbiased information would be best, but I understand that's not completely possible haha.
