It's my grandpa's rememberance day on Monday and every year, my grandma has someone bring what she calls the "image of San Antonio" to the house. It's a small state of St. Antonio holding a child encased inside a wooden box with a glass pane in the front. It sits on a table with flowers, a candle, and a photo of my late grandpa. On the day of rememberance, they hold a prayer meeting reciting several prayers. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the significance St. Antonio has in all of this? Also, just in case this matters, my family is Filipino. I can't really ask any of my family, because they more than likely don't know and the ones that probably know can't explain it well enough for me in English. Thanks in advance.
