People have been asking for it, so here it is: the February 2021 iteration of the Matchmaker Form.
Here are the instructions:
In Phase 1, men sign up. Please answer all the questions AS DETAILED as possible! It's very much to your advantage to be detailed in your responses.
After Phase 1, I will take the spreadsheet of all the mens' responses, remove usernames and replace them with anonymous ID numbers, and make the new, anonymized spreadsheet public on /r/CatholicDating.
This begins Phase 2. Here, the women look at the anonymized spreadsheet of mens' responses. Then, based on how they like the responses, they submit a ranked list of their preferences, ranked from 1-10 or 1-15, using the ID number to denote each man.
After Phase 2, we will make matches based on the preference rankings, and send out matches.
Phase 1 will last until sometime in early February. Phase 2 will probably last for a week. Then matches will be released by Valentine's Day.
Please note two things: first, we are enforcing the rule that if you sign up, you must participate if you get matched, lest you get temporarily banned. You're allowed to message me (/u/MambaMentaIity) to ask to be taken off the form if you no longer wish to participate of course, but this has to be done before the end of Phase 2. Also, I'm releasing this during a somewhat busy time (because there's been demand for it, and Valentine's Day seem appropriate). This means that during the matching process, I may be forced to only choose a subset of men, starting with those who signed up first, to match. I'd like to not do this, but the chance I do it increases in the amount of business I have in my life. However, the chance I do this DECREASES in the amount of volunteers we have, so please message me if you'd like to volunteer to help!
God bless you!
