Do any of the expansions make 2-player Catan more balanced?

I plat 2-player Catan fairly often and even with adjusted rules regarding the robber and rolling to help the losing person, one person of "takes off" if they get any advantage and steamrolls the other person.
Do any of the expansions help address this issue in 2-player?
