Afraid that valuable time was lost after Puppy Strangles on new Catahoula

Hello everyone,

My wife and I's sweet new Catahoula Roo developed puppy strangles the day after we got him from his litter. He's already 9 weeks old now and recovering quickly but I'm terrified that with how he spent the whole last week laid up sick that we've lost valuable time in training him and he's going to be behind the curve in socialization and potty training since he can't get his second round of shots for a while as a result.

Does anyone have similar experience that can help assuage my fears?
