My cat has been attempting to lick/groom me, usually when I'm sleeping, for the past few nights. I'm not sure if she's specifically trying to eat my hair; she seems plenty content to just lick my face as well, though I'm usually not a fan because of her coarse tongue being uncomfortable on my forehead. I wouldn't mind her licking my hair, but my hair is on the longer side, and she seems to keep getting it stuck in her mouth. I then have to run my hand over my head to tug my hair out of her mouth... to which she then licks me again, and rince repeat until I either move her elsewhere on the bed or I scoot away from her.
If she is just trying to groom me, I don't exactly want to upset her by seeming like I'm rejecting the gesture. But other than just encouraging her to stop, I'm also not exactly sure what to do, short of getting a haircut so that she stops getting my hair caught in her mouth.
