Hi folks! I know kittens are very exploratory. I dont have any issues with her climbing on my coffee table or anything (maybe this adds to the problem), but when I'm eating at my table, she likes to climb up the chairs and try to get to my food or she'll wall around me and beg. I'm worried that when she gets old enough, she'll jump all over my counters and dining room table. She eats more than enough, I got her an automatic feeder that feeds her several times throughout the day. I decided to eat my meal while she was eating so I could be unbothered, but as soon as she finished, she climbed up the chairs and onto the table. I've even taken to throwing toys away from me while I eat but they only distract her for so long. How do I stop or discourage this behavior now?
