Kitten crying for food in the mornings

Post Body

Hi! I'm a first time cat owner and i'm worried about doing things wrong. I feed my kitter twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.

In the mornings, she screams at my door for hours (I feed her at 9, no exceptions). But I've read some conflicting stuff. Some articles are saying she's crying because she's hungry and young and to feed her. Others are saying not to feed her until she stops vocalizing. She follows me everywhere and my apartment isn't very big so she's never not around. I've tried to use toys to keep her busy, and that seems to get her to stop begging, but as soon as I head near the kitchen she goes BALLISTIC.

Do I just feed her at 9 regardless of her crying or should I wait until she's no longer begging? And does her running to the kitchen as soon as I get up and screaming count as begging??

Edit: added extra info
