Cat peeing outside the litter box issue

Post Body

Hey, I have a 19 month old cat, male not neutered. Recently he started to pee around some random spots, so far he peed on the tile floor, on my brother’s backpack twice, on my brother’s clothes and on my dad’s backpack. The thing is: mom, dad and brother don’t live with me, they are spending a couple of weeks in my house, and my cat never had this issue before. Is my cat stressed with them and is proceeding to take revenge by peeing on their stuff? Should I add another litter box? He is the only cat in my home and his litter box is scooped twice a day. Will neutering fix this issue?

Medical conditions are ruled out already and I’m feeling a little uneasy with this situation. Please shed a light.
