Post Body

I have two cats. Ash McDougall is 8 years old and has been my little boy for a little over a year now. We've recently adopted a kitten who is now 6 months old named Franklin McCallum.

Y'all, the kitten is a little p**k. He chases Ash around, biting at his legs whenever Ash is in a comfy spot or near me. Ash is far too gentle to do little more than hiss and trot away.

I've heard just letting them be cats is best and dominance will be established, but after 3 months it's the same story. Ash will play with Frankie, but when he has enough Frankie just doesn't know when to stop.

To help this, I've started playing fetch with Frankie and taking him on daily walks. This has reduced his irksome antics against Ash, but he'll still chase Ash off of his favorite sunbathing spots.

I'm at my wit's end and am soooo close to rehoming Frankie, because it really hurts to see Ash getting pushed around like this. I've also tried giving them treats when they're around each other being normal, a kitty jail for 6 minutes whenever Frankie won't stop being a d*ck, but he's still bullying my older boy.

I'll take any insight and ideas I can get. And to be clear, I'm not looking for ways to make sure Ash can have alone time (He has a few spots he can reach where Frankie can't reach) I'm looking for ways/thoughts/ideas/words-of-wisdom on Frankie's antics.
