Collar Advice Needed

So I’ve had a collar on my indoor cat for a week. It wasn’t tight, but she didn’t like the noise of the ID tag. I’m not sure if she didn’t like the collar all together, or it was just the noise bothering her, and I didn’t get the chance to find out.

This morning, I woke up to her not having a collar on. The collar I bought had a breakaway elastic, and she managed to scratch & bite it enough that it broke.

I am waiting till Jan to chip her as the closest Vet is an hour away, and that’s when her boosters are due. So, the ID tag is the only thing I have if she escapes the house.

Before I go and buy another collar, any advice on what I should get?
