My cat emmy is extremely picky with wet food and will only eat dry kibble. I know kibble isn’t sustainable for a cats health so i really want to transition her to a fully wet food diet.
she drinks a good amount of water but she won’t even touch her kibble if i put a topper on it, salmon oil, or even just water. i fully transitioned my other two cats to wet food and they love it but emmy will literally gag if there’s wet food touching her kibble.
there was a time where the only wet food she would eat was the purina one beef pate, but now she gags at it. i’m not sure if they changed the formula but she won’t even eat any other beef flavored food. I’ve tried food from the honest kitchen and smalls since i heard those were good for picky cats but again, she doesn’t touch it.
i’m at a loss because i want what’s best for her health but if it’s not kibble she won’t eat it :( any advice is greatly appreciated
has anyone had this problem and successfully transitioned their picky cat to wet food ?m
