Cat used to like chunks with gravy wet food but now only eats mousse/"soup-y" wet food

I noticed that my cats will only eat mousse nowadays or anything that has soup-y consistency. Is it because of the summer heat? Its like 44c right now. When I gave them chunks with gravy they would ignore the chunks but finish the gravy.
