Cats attacking water dish, what can I do?

Post Body

So I've had my two little furballs for almost 5 years now and while they're absolutely amazing cats, they have a tendency to smack and attack their water dishes.

I've tried moving it, I've tried various dishes, washing the bowl regularly, fountain water dishes, everything I can think of. One of them has gotten clever and mastered the art of tipping them over if they're too small/light. I've glued magnets to try and keep it anchored to a table. I've swapped the table. Just about anything and everything I can think of or have read. I've taken him to a vet in which they've cleared him, I've tried stimulating him with toys and wearing him out, nothing seems to sate his bloodlust for maximum water based carnage.

I've finally at least managed to get a massive ceramic dish that's too heavy for him to flip. But now it's his own personal splash zone, and he's taught his brother how to do it.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or am I confined to mopping their mess up every night?
