For those who feed their cats almost exclusively wet food, or more wet than dry, how would you say your cats' poop is? Weird question, I know, but every time I give my cats wet food they get diarrhea, even on raw or expensive foods. 🥲 And I never just give that to them straight, it's usually as a topper. But because of the diarrhea and one being a Persian, I don't do wet food often. So I could understand it upsetting their bellies.
But if I made it more consistent, would their poop solidify? And how would their body composition be? Dry food seems to cause obesity, but my old man cat eats the urinary formula food after he got a crystal and to me he seems under weight ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ And there are random days where he'll throw up from eating too fast. He never tries to overeat either. He's turned his nose up at wet food at times. For 10 years old he's still lithe and active but I would really like for him to have more cushion on him. Or is being this skinny better for him in the long run?
