I was just wondering if they are worth it or if they require just as much maintenance and upkeep as cheaper alternatives, we are getting a kitty soon and would like to hear some thoughts, experiences, advice?

EDIT: the kittens will be coming from a household where they already use a LR. so i appreciate the input on cats generally being afraid but I think theyโ€™ll be fine?

EDIT2: Thank you so much for the overwhelming amount of advice and suggestions! This is honestly the best sub, i love cat people lol ๐Ÿ–ค

Edit3: A lot of you have suggested the LR4, alongside an automatic feeder and fountain bundles. how would you use an automatic feeder with wet foods? I was thinking of feeding them wet food. also, any recommendations for these products? again, thank you so so so much!
