My cat occasionally gets poop stuck in the fur around his butt or in his tail hair. I try my best to clean it but he will yowl like I am killing him and fight tooth and claw to get out of my arms. I used to take him to the vet for a "Sani Trim" when the hair in that area got too long, but it's becoming a price issue and the groomer is only in on a day that's not really good for me. I give my cat Purina FortiFlora Supplement so that he doesn't have diarrhea (an issue he previously had) but he still has too soft ones at times that are getting stuck in the fur. Any suggestions for either preventing this or how I can calm him enough to clean him? Thank you!
