I know that this has been asked a few times but I looked over the questions and I think mine might be a little different enough to warrant going ahead to ask. My cat is 6 years old and in the approx. 5 months I've had him he has always been good about drinking, I've seen him out of the corner of my eye drinking from his bowl. I don't believe I have seen him doing that recently, but maybe I am not catching him, because there are still urine clumps in his litter. But that might be the liquid from the gravy from his food. I recently tried a cat fountain but he wouldn't go near it. I should also say I always gave him sink water but through a Brita filter. I switched to bottled water when my hot water started coming out of the faucet water white (apparently harmless mineral buildup but still concerning). I am asking if there is anything that can be served alongside water, like a specialized broth, or something to add even more liquid to his food that won't increase calories, sodium, or fat. I remember a long time ago, when I had a dog, the store used to carry "gourmet water" for finicky drinkers but I don't see such products now a day. ETA: yes title should say "cat" not "can't", I have a horrible sinus infection and meds are making me a little loopy...
