I just adopted my little guy on Saturday. He is turning one in July, he is a short haired tux, and is neutered.

He is a very sweet boy, loves cuddles and pets and being around people. I’ve been trying to play with him, the only toy he really likes is the wand one and so far strictly at 2am, which has been great. Whenever I try to go to sleep he jumps in bed, crawls all over me, cuddles on my pillow, or whenever he can fit.

He’ll just purr loudly and it’s really cute but I’d love to get some sleep in. I’m trying to tire him out more by playing with him but it doesn’t change anything and he just wants to crawl all over me and refuses to lay on his blanket or pillow.

I’m going to get him a cat tree to see if he prefers sleeping on it but right now I’m at a loss. It doesn’t matter how many times I guide him to his blanket, bed or even a different pillow it lasts 5 seconds before he’s back.
