Hello!
My resident cat is a 4 year old female who is spayed and has lived with another cat before. The new kitty is an 8 year old neutered male who has lived with multiple cats before.
I introduced them slowly using meal times and play. I tried to get them to stop hissing and growling by introducing through baby gates at one point but new kitty would just climb over them. They will eat close to each other, but will hiss and growl if either one enters the other's two foot bubble. How do I progress beyond this? It's been a couple of months and I feel stuck.
