I am one of those people who have really shitty short term memory problems that are only ever going to get worse over time. Partly due to medication and partly due to SVD, small vessel disease and a couple of TIA's. I can't recall clearly what I had for dinner last night for example, but the further back I go memory wise its almost crystal clear. I can recall playing on my 1th scooter back in 1971, when i was 2years old,, playing with Tonka toys, playing on the railway tracks near the now closed Corby Steelworks and climbing over and under the "Black pipe". That pipe was the main water feed to the Steelworks and ran over the rail tracks of the "Manton" line.
My 1th day at Rockingham infant school, very 1th school photo school trips etc. The thrill of watching workmen installing the fabled "Apparatus" and then having to do people in undercrackers as my mum couldn't afford a pe kit. I've got so many memories stored in my noggin it's seems ridiculous. Asking my wife about her earliest memories, for her they start around age 7, many of my friends are similar to my wife with memories only going back to 5, 6, 7 years old.
So line up and throw down your earliest memory
