Morning all! As per the title, on Friday I completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks and can honestly say its by far the hardest thing I've ever done. I was emotionally, physically and mentally broken after it. 25 miles, 66,000 steps, 12 hours and 1600m total ascent.
The reason I'm posting in here is because 18 months ago I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and Left Ventricular Hypertrophy and completely gave up. I told myself that I had 12 months left and stopped giving a sh*t about myself. Since then, I've got my head in gear, given myself a talking to and completed Snowdon last year and now this.
So if this post can resonate with even just one person, then my work is done. Please don't ever give up on yourself!
