We've all seen examples of people being overly tight, but what are your best ones?
I've seen the usual of a guy at work re-using tea bags (but as the company provided them, is it really tight or not just bloody weird?) but my favourite was my ex-mother in law.
She had some builders in to redo their kitchen. They were obviously going to be there for a week or so. She went out and bought value tea bags for them while her and her husband supped a nice brew of whatever their staple bag of choice was. All to save about £4 when you've spent thousands on a kitchen. Just seems overly tight.
What examples do you have?
My ex bf (24) worked full time in sales and lived in a rent subsidised unit owned by his parents while I (19) studied full time and lived properly out of home. He made me split everything, to the extent of asking me to send him $4 because he bought me a coffee. But the one that always pissed me off was we’d split a case of beers for parties, then his broke best mate would drink half of them 😠one day at a festival he (mate) asked if we had any vodka left I snapped and said WE DO! You don’t because you didn’t buy any!
