This has been an objectively shitty year for us/ those close to us. One of our kids had to spend half the year in hospital with a life threatening illness and some of our close friends had to say goodbye to a number of loved ones, including a couple in their 30’s who died in a freak accident. Today we’ve heard that a teenager at our kids’ school has committed suicide, obviously sending a massive shockwave through their friendship group. It’s hard to fathom their pain and that of their family. As far as I’m concerned 2023 can do one. I’m after ideas to help ‘see it out’ on New Year’s Eve. Something visual and tangible - eg a piñata with 2023 written on it that we can batter, or something to set fire to. I’ve not found anything online so I’m coming to the wonderful folks of CasualUK for creative ideas. The more visceral the better!
