My favourite bowl broke today (a ballad)

13 years ago I purchased this bowl as a pack of two from Poundland in my first year of uni. It's held many, many packets of ready/microwave noodles and travelled with me to six different homes. Recently it developed a crack and I knew it didn't have long left. Later it developed another crack, and today, as I was drying it in preparation for another packet of noodles, it finally gave way.

I've written a poem.

The Ballad of Plastic Bowl

Rest in peace, dear Plastic Bowl You've lasted me many years From your humble beginnings as a Poundland purchase You've accompanied me with many beers

Can we please bow our heads for a moment of silence for Plastic Bowl in these sad moments. Thank you.
