Hi all, I would like to tell how a total stranger helped and reminded me and my family that humanity is not dead yet.
Today, I got a long awaited phone call from the hospital regarding the result of the biopsy I went through sometime ago. Fortunately, nothing bad was observed. I do wish for all those waiting their result the same.
After hearing the good news, we wanted to go out as a family to grab some food and beers. The weather was perfect, so we decided to ride our bikes. Everything was going all good until the point where our little one started to complain about a pain in his tummy. It is a 30-minutes bike ride from the pub to our house, so we decided to leave immediately before our son got any worse. Half way through the road, he said the pain was too much and we stopped to check on him. He looked so bad that partner and I panicked and didn't know what to do do as we are in the middle of this B road.
I have no idea how many minutes we were there trying to think what to do when this gentleman approached us asking if everything was okay. He told us that he saw us while he was driving from the lane across we were standing, realized something was wrong, made a u-turn and wanted to check on us as he was a first aider. He initially thought the kid fell down from the bike or something, but when we told him what happened, he without any hesitation offered us a ride to the A&E.
Fortunately, my son doesn't have something serious. He is all fine now. I really cannot thank this person enough under no circumstances!! You not only helped us to go to the A&E today, but literally reminded us there are still people around who willingly there to help those who are in need. I hope you and your loved ones will come across people as nice as you.
Thanks a million and please let me know if you read this!
