I think I got catfished.

Me (25M) and Her (23F) met here in Reddit. We talked for some quite time now and decided to date irl. I've set up everything for that date, made reservations, even bought new clothes lol. Tbh, nagandahan talaga ako sa kanya based on the pictures. She looked like Marian Rivera. Ganong level. F

Fast forward, day of our date. I got there before she did sa restau. While waiting she texted me na nasa labas na daw sya ng pinto. Sinundo ko sya dun. Maraming tao sa labas ng pinto and I couldn't recognize her kaya tinext ko sya kung anong suot nya.

She was wearing this sundress daw na yellow and then I saw her sa gilid, it felt like a movie scene kasi nakatalikod sya sakin. Kinalabit ko na sya and then... I saw her face.

Uhm haha. I was confused. Sino yung ka date ko? Nasan sya??? HAHA.

Still shocked in place, nagsalita sya kung ok lang daw ba ako. Para daw akong nakakita ng multo. I shrugged it off tas sinabi ko nalang na, ang ganda nya tonight. Which made her giggle. Ngl it was cute.

Pero ayun na nga, di maalis sa isip ko yung pictures nyasac social media tas irl.

May mga features pa din naman na pareho like nose, eyes. I feel like the pictures were super edited kasi sobrang kinis ng face nya sa pictures, pero irl she has acne/marks. Her face is kinda round compared to the pics na parang V-shape. Ayun lang naman difference. The rest, ok naman.

I just feel like na catfish ako or... Ano? Nadaya ba? Hahaha.

Please girls, we will appreciate if you don't use filters sa pics nyo. Nakakagulat kasi in person. Mga broskie ano opinions about this? Parang ayoko na magkaroon ng second date.
