We are renovating our ancestral house, extending the house to a lot at the back of it. Cost of it? We divided it on our capacity, but I can say na we’re almost paying the same. Family, common, kitchen areas, everything is good.

I am a bunso in a siblings of 4, no child. 2nd floor, rooms for me, my siblings and their children.

I designed my room na space saver, loft type, pero hindi rin naman ganun ka high ceiling, kaya mukhang maluwag sa baba, pero yuyuko pa rin sa kama. (I’m 5’11) I can say that the size of my room is not that big, it just looks like it.

My sister sent me a message (since I work abroad) kung pwede daw liitan yung room ko kasi nasisikipan sya sa room ng anak nya.

I said no. Naisip ko na sila nga may rooms na sila AT mga anak nila, tapos my own space, liliitan, and to think, wala naman akong ibang room na pinagawa for myself.

I may be a people pleaser, pero naguiguilty ako na nag-no ako. Dapat ba ako maguilty or I do have a point kung bakit ako nag-no? Di ko masabi sa kanila, bukod sa I’m away from them, I have an almost 10-year gap to my siblings and di naman ako sobrang family guy.
