Hey y'all,
I've been contemplating about adopting a pet for some time now. I live in an apartment by myself and wanted to bring some more 'life' into the apartment mainly.
I've grown up in a house where we've always had a dog so that was my natural tendency. However due to more 'logistical' considerations I've decided to go with a cat (well, a couple of them technically) which I like as well.
Now that they are here in my apartment I'm not quite sure how to feel. I've grown accustomed to being very much in control of what happens around the apartment and now that seems to have changed. It's kind of chaotic in a way.
Then there's some level of concern around damaging things around the apartment, for example cables. And also I work quite often from home and do multiple Zoom calls a day, so we'll see how that will go next week.
All in all I guess I just feel a bit overwhelmed. Maybe I just didn't know what to expect in a way and need some time to adjust.
Have you guys experienced something similar in the past?
