I posted a few weeks back about being nervous interviewing. Surprisingly, everything went smooth and I got an offer in exactly a week! It really was the best. I was going on vacay, wondering if I would get it and when my plane landed I got the email. It really was the best way to start a 9 day vacay into the woods.

Right now I'm just tying up loose ends for my work. My manager and I are leaving on bad terms- maybe he knows it or maybe not. It doesn't matter now though, he made his choice and I made mine as a consequence. I won't let personal feelings get into affecting my workplace though.

Kind of unfortunate because I really like my job, but I'm going into the same field and specializing in it instead of being a jack of all trades.
