So, I’ve always been an emo/punk girl and in high school I had a really cute choppy haircut that I’d mess up and all that, but on prom.. I slicked it down and.. I’m gonna say it, despite my black, gorgeous gothic dress, I had the Karen hairdo... and I’m really fuckin mad about it..

I asked my boyfriend from when I was 18 (we still homies) why he didn’t tell me. And he said that “POCs don’t need to worry about being a Karen” and I said, okay, but I look more white than POC and also, I hate you.

I only found this out after seeing some viral challenge about turning yourself into your emo phase and like, I was gonna (and definitely still will), but I am SHOOK to the core right now.
