Help.

I don't know how to handle this gossip situation. I usually don't care. It's usually not my business and I usually know that 95% of the time it's pure crap. Usually

The gossip came from my younger brother about our cousin. I'm God-Mother to our cousin, Jane's, baby. Jane's fiancé is Mark.

I have no idea why my brother is friends with Mark's ex girlfriend, former booty call, whatever. My brother says this ex of Mark's is messaging him, telling my brother that Mark says he misses her. (My brain is hurting typing this out on my phone.)

I've asked my brother to tell Jane about this. That if I tell her, it's second-hand info and legitimate gossip. My brother is being petty. He says Jane's done him dirty, and because of that, he's going to keep it to himself.

I'm worried there might be truth to this. If I were Jane I'd be devastated to find out that family had kept this from me. Please, guidance would be appreciated.
