Trying to take a break from social media recently kinda made me realize the real negatives of it. For example, it makes it impossible to not make comparisons. Whether it's attention or followers, people can't stop comparing themselves to others. I suppose it's always been that way everywhere, but social media makes this much worse. It's been glorified to the point that I feel like if you aren't active on the big three (Twitter, Facebook & Instagram) then it almost feels like you are on the outside looking in. Anybody else feel this way?
