So, I was asked to join a fairly new Virtual Reality gaming 'channel' I guess I could say. They do giveaways, are starting doing reviews, do livestreaming, etc.
I was asked to put together a video review. One of the others was going to help with editing it all together, but they were pretty busy, so I mostly figured it out myself with the occasional question and lots of YouTube tutorials/Google.
No links as no self-promotion. If you're really interested, the Facebook link is in my history and YouTube linked there.
Anyway, pending some last minute cleaning up of the sound by one of the others and a few seconds of music creation by another person, it's basically done. Not sure how good it is, but I've covered a bunch of points, put scenes together, used picture in picture, added in some nice transaction effects.
Has anyone else learned a new skill recently? Why did you learn it?
Anyone who knows what's what in video editing have any tips for someone who learned it themselves over a few hours here and there during the course of a week?
