Has anyone here ever been anxious about driving on their own?

I'm 17 and just got my license a month ago. My parents say I'm free to go out whenever, but I haven't even left the house in the past couple weeks. I'm honestly very paranoid about getting into an altercation with someone. Even the idea of someone commenting on my poor parking skills is enough to make me toss my keys away. Was wondering if anyone felt the same way, or has gotten over this issue in the past. I just want to get a sodiepop from the store.
