So, I'm a student and work part time and thought I could do okay for Christmas but I'm losing my job so not so much. I want my Zoodle (5f) to have a good Christmas and I thought contacting the most notable charity organization would be the best way to go.

No. Not at all. Holy crap. Apparently they have regional distrobution and you have to go to other organizations to get screened, which okay... I get. Except they're mostly churches and the like and never answer their phones and basically don't want anything to do with you unless you are a part of their organisation. Grr.

I just want a decent Christmas for my kid, seriously! I had no idea how rediculous the process was. Thank god for good will and hand me downs. I'm never giving to toy for tots again.
